RoHS certification
Sciford Company’s products are subject to the EU direction on restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipments, which is the RoHS Directive. Raw materials prohibited by the RoHS include lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, as well as PBB and PBDE flame retardants. As we have already undertaken preventive measures on engendering harmful substances, all Sciford products will reach the requirements of RoHS Directive.
Product Design
The product design of Sciford has provided for the amount of raw materials in use, the types of materials and their recycling ability, the energy consumption of production and usage, as well as the convenience in recycling. According to its overall high standards and the struggle for perfection on the products, Sciford pursues to achieve the greatest effectiveness and at the same time minimize the resource consumption.
Rational Manufacturing
By restricting the use of environmentally harmful compounds in raw materials and preventing the engendering of those in manufacturing process, Sciford contributes to the protection of the environment and consumer safety.
Sciford's manufacturing sites are all ISO 14001 certificated, which helps the company to control the impact on environment with a comprehensive and systematic approach.
Production Safety and Occupational Health
We believe that all occupational injuries and diseases, safety accidents and environmental protection incidents are avoidable. Therefore it is our goal to achieve Zero Injury, Zero Disease, and Zero Accident. In addition, we are also striving to enhance our personnel’s safety during non-working hours.
Energy Conservation and Nature Protection
Sciford values appropriate exploitation of coal, oil, gas, water, mineral and other natural resources. We plan for the usage of land and the protection of ecological environment. For the foundation of every new factory, we will first carry out an environmental assessment. Meanwhile, we have been taking the design, construction, production, maintenance, transportation and other aspects int consideration, to ensure the safety is acceptable by the community, and to achieve our intention of the environmental protection.
