Corporate Social Responsibility Corporate Social Responsibility is a conscious of balance and behavior of rationality in pursuing a harmonious development by taking responsibility for the impact of their activities on corporations, people, society and environment in all aspects of their operations. Sciford strives to improve the quality of people’s life and lift the community spirit of our operational areas through a series of financial support and its staff’s active participation in volunteer activities. Sciford provides a strong support to promote the growth of sustainable social development projects and non-governmental organizations. Sciford Environmental Protection Philosophy One of the most essential points for an Environmental protection job is to have considerations based on the entire product life cycle, such as to reduce the negative impact on environment in the overall life cycle of products. During the phase of product research and development, the compliance with environmental laws and regulations, the substitution of poisonous material, the amount of the raw materials used and the usage efficiency, energy consumption and other factors within the process of usage should be fully considered. In the phase of the raw materials purchasing, the practice needs to effectively manage the environmental performance of suppliers; and during the phase of the production manufacturing, it must be in line with environmental management system requirements and get certificated from authority institutions. In the final phase of waste disposal, it needs to take full account of how to recover, recycle and disposal properly, so that resources can be returned within the material chain. By coordinating considerations in the above phases, we attempt to form a closed-loop system, which covers the lifecycle of a product, so that researchers are able to use safe, and environmental protection research products.
